I hold a bachelors from UCLA, a masters and Ph.D from UC Davis, and am certified by UCLA’s College Counseling program. I have also been awarded several NEH fellowships and have spoken at many national conferences. In addition, I bring my expertise teaching and grading AP exams to help students shine through their writing (personal essays, supplements, and in the application).
I have taught and worked in various admissions departments, and provided workshops at many local schools, including Marlborough, Flintridge Preparatory, Archer, and Milken Community Schools. I have successfully guided students to schools such as Barnard, Boston College, Clarkson, Cornell, CSU campuses, Loyola Marymount, Middlebury, NYU, UC Berkeley, UCSB, UC Davis, UCLA, UC Santa Cruz, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, Georgetown, USC, the University of Puget Sound, the University of Texas, the University of Portland, Vanderbilt, Vassar, Wesleyan, Western Washington, and Willamette. I also coach students through ScholarMatch, which serves first generation, low income students and families.
